Warning: Images On Screen May Be Smaller Than They Appear

Hey, AS, give Americans what the Americans want.
That is the American way, right?
And it is lucrative, too![Can't find that "Here is Lucy" clip where she is making a commercial selling some syrup ..]

…cfukara, are you talking about Lucy's Vitameatavegamin episode? If yes, here's one clip

Thanks for the link, Amy. Is Fox really a conservative news channel or an entertainment venue? I don't watch Fox at all anymore so I don't know. Speaking of Sarah's tour, is anyone on your team on the road with her covering this, maybe even getting another interview with her?
.
…also, thanks for your earlier cupcake recipe. I appreciate that.-

Read what you want into cfuk. Won't change a thing. Ratings are ratings.

I caught it right away. So did millions of other viewers. Totally obvious that it was a mistake, nothing more. MSM will have a field day, but at the end of the day it will win them nothing. Could someone get Olberman a towel?

" .. Totally obvious that it was a mistake, nothing more. "
Yeah! We shouldn't read much in what the good wingnuts do. Move on.
But those libruls! Everything they do IS deliberate! If they did the same thing, you would let them forget it. -

Gee, it almost seems like it's a "fiction, which is aided and abetted by the mainstream press, that Fox is a traditional news organization."

America loves fiction. Must be why Fox OWNS the number one slot.

OK, here's the deal:
.
There's a large number of Americans who can't (or won't) face the truth, so they succumb to their prejudices and fears by watching FockSnooze. The majority of us, interested in information rather than having someone who profits by pandering to prejudices, divide our viewing among a number of outlets that at least respect accuracy as a journalistic objective. The result is that the minority of reality deniers outnumber, and will continue to outnumber, any of the individual subsets of the rational majority.
.
When you want to use ratings as your argument, think about it this way: I can remember when the Archies were the Number One band in the country for a long time – except The Archies didn't exist. Pretty much like Fox "News." -

Flown, don't forget the Monkees, although I'll confess I liked many of their songs, no matter who wrote or played them (esp. “A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You” and “Valleri”). But while there have been many “manufactured” bands created by studios / labels, it's depressing to see our news suffering the same treatment.

El Vez, thanks for the link to your earlier spot-on comment, espec. this: "That is because the media treats Glenn Greenwald as someone to put down in occasional blog posts, while considering Glenn Beck their assignment editor (see, e.g., Jay Newton Small's latest offering)."
.
GG or anyone left of Joe "Liberal" Klein. I mean, you can pay attn/validate the demagogues or many brilliant Americans who might have the people's interests at heart (Amy Goodman for instance). It's clear the choice is simple. -

Amy:
Seems you forgot about being a conscientious objector.
http://swampland.blogs.time.com/2009/11/17/sarah-who/But hey why not when you can get a cheap shot in against a rival that is kicking MSM hindquarters. Maybe you should check to see if the audience viewing Oprah the other day for Palin's appearance were real- highest in 2 years, beating the Messiah.

Train wrecks always get a lot of attention. It's almost impossible to look away.
Same with the Wasilla Quitter. -

Just barely out of the chute and the liberal heads are exploding. PDS Palin Derangement Syndrome.

So does that explain the media infatuation with Obama or are they just the typical dumb liberals?

Palin quotes... Fact or fiction?
I's always hard to tell what quaotes Palin has actually said and what quotes are parody. Presented here are two quote. Which one is real?
When asked by Sean Hannity what we can do about the threat from Iran:
PALIN: We have allies who are as concerned about Ahmadinejad's actions as we are. We need to be working closer with France, and with Britain, and start, not just considering, but seriously taking steps towards the sanctions that we hear all about but we never see any actions towards, though.
Cutting off the imports into Iraq, of their refined petroleum products. They're reliant -- 40 to 45 percent of their energy supply is reliant on those imports. We have some control over there.
And some of the beneficial international monetary deals that Iraq benefits from -- we can start implementing some sanctions there and start really shaking things up, and telling Ahmadinejad, nobody is going to stand for this.
When asked by Limbaugh what the NY-23/Doug Hoffman contest tells us:
PALIN: I think it (NY-23 race) made a clearer and clearer picture that what Americans are seeking – even in a district there in New York – they are seeking common sense conservative solutions to all the problems that we are facing.
LIMBAUGH: What kind of "common sense conservative solutions" are you talking about?
PALIN: You know, Rush, like all these contracts let out willy-nilly under the stimulus package to repave roads and the like that could have gone directly to hard-working Americans who would've been more than happy to pave their own roads like the streets in front of their homes themselves with stuff they could have bought from the Home Depot so we could have not only been repaving the roads but also stimulating our economy by having millions of hard-working Americans, regular Joe Six-Packs, buying paving stuff at Home Depot or their local hardware stores and the like.
Are they both real? Both fake? Is one real and one fake? If so, which is which?

Fox News did NOT make a "mistake":

... and I'll be surprised if the real perpetrator is "held accountable."

If you are putting together a slideshow for your girlfriend from the vacation folder of pictures you and your girlfriend took at Yosemite - and 'somehow' another girl's picture at a beach 'just happened' to slip in there, your girlfriend will have good reason not to believe your explanations.
How did another picture from a different folder (or from nowhere) just happen to drop into that vacation folder and 'somehow' get incorporated into the slideshow without intelligent intervention? No. It was a wilful act which was monitored at each of its various stages. The controls and procedures for accessing archived footage from the library at a TV studio are stricter. And the editors record what is sliced where along the entire duration of the film or video clip.
FOX, YOU LIE!
