Jay, thanks for the video, really poignant. What's the music played? A cello is good for somber moods. I'm surprised at lack of replies here given activity this morning. I take that back; since feeding crickets *today* at KT's RNC / abortion post when nearly all others are busy, I'm not surprised one bit. But thanks for this video, seriously.

But most importantly, what was Michelle wearing? A dress, pantsuit, cocktail dress? Cause that is really all that matters.

Have you thought about encouraging that doughy pantload of a son of yours to join the armed forces so he can participate in some of the wars he thinks are such a great idea.

The military has really dropped its physical fitness and mental ability standards, so he could get in, I'm sure.

As like deconstructiva, it saddens me to see so few posts regarding this video. Regardless of who the President was, this was a tribute to our fallen heroes of all wars. There was not one photo or reference to the President in the piece. It sickens me to see “funny” jabs, immature posts, from so-called patriotic persons, after looking at such a classy presentation, dedicated to those who gave their lives so they could have the freedom to say anything they wished. The sad thing is they chose to be callous and disrespectful at a moment when they should have honored those whose bodies lie in Arlington, in other military cemeteries around the world, and those who are still serving our country.

My husband just retired from the Air Force after 30 years of service. My uncle was a WWII POW, after his plane was downed by the Luftwaffe, and being a prisoner until rescued by Gen Patton. My father is also a Veteran. My grandfather was a WWI Veteran. My best friend lost her oldest son in Iraq five years ago when he had just turned 20. So, I am personally offended by references to the First Lady's dress, by digging up photos of the President that have nothing to do with our fallen, by cutting remarks towards each other. The light-hearted comments are an insult to ALL the families of the fallen (the Gold Star families), as well as the Blue Star families, and all our service men and women. This was a time to put aside all these biting comments, and instead give a tribute to the men and women whose sacrifice and unselfishness have made this nation the great democracy it is today.
