Let's See How You Like It
This recess, a Democratic outside group is spending more than a $1 million on television commercials lambasting GOP lawmakers for voting against health care reform. The Foundation for Patients Rights, which is aligned with the Service Employees International Union, is planning ads in Delaware and Illinois against Reps. Mike Castle and Mark Kirk – both of whom are running for Senate – and in California against Mary Bono Mack. The spots are intended to remind these lawmakers that there are consequences for voting to support the insurance industry and to show Republicans in the Senate that there is political danger in voting against health care reform. Of course, the ads won't be the only ones out there, but this recess doesn't look to be as ferociously contentious as August and Democratic groups like this one and Moveon are working to counteract any Tea Party plans.

OT, but it's nauseating to see Wolf Blitzer try to fill Lou Dobbs' role as loud-mouthed a$$hole so son after Lou left:

I'm not a big Lou Dobbs fan but as an American he is entitled to his position. Free speech is fundamental to democracy.
It seems that liberals really don't believe in free speech. If you don't believe as they do they will use personal attacks to try an demonize you. They never use truth or real facts to argue their positions. I guess that's because they can't win an argument based on facts. They would rather take something out of context or tell a half truth which is really a lie.

OOooooooo....I'm scared.....OOoooooo
.
The BIG SEIU scary. A BIG UNION whose only purpose in life is to strong-arm poor employees out of their hard earned money in order for big fat cats to live like movie stars.
.
OOoooooo BIG SEIU the political arm of and sister organization of ACORN two of the most CORRUPT "organizations" in America today.
.
Is it any wonder the Mafia and Jimmy Hoffa are spinning in their graves. Well maybe not Hoffa as he is part of the concrete platforms in the New Jersey stadium where the Giants play football.
.
OOooooo so scary one would think it is Halloween again. -
5
Hey Michael, how many times again did SEIU CEO visit the Obama White House? What's his name again?
-
5.1
I get it rusty -- you hate SEIU because after all they are mostly low wage workers in the health care field who sit on the front lines everyday watching how Americans get shafted by the health insurance industry -- how dare they take it upon themselves to fight for health care reform on our behalf. and you hate ACORN, because they have the nerve to make sure that poor people in this country have a voice, participate in our Democratic system and help those who are eligible for better housing and earned income tax credits to apply for that assistance -- because lord knows if their poor they must be getting more than their fair share of the resources and have to much and we need to hate any organization that helps them out right?.

Um, I think you mean Jay. And His name is Andy Stern.
-

Ahh...JNS, my questioning for Michael Scherer was more a joke, because he wrote this...
.

.
Right? Nothing against you or your blog posting here, but I do believe Michael did bring to the viewing public how many times Andy Stern visited the White House since Obama became President.
.
I am sure with a little investigation a really good reporter could also find out what was discussed, right JNS?
.
I mean, you were able to find out that the SEIU, the thugs of all labor union thugs backed by ACORN is planning a huge media campaign and all.
.
By the way since I do have your attention JNS. Did you dig at all into what all the "ties" the Foundation for Patient Rights are? You know, who actually funds this program? How much Government money they have received, especially since Obama has gotten into the White House.
.
Do you think that all the money ACORN has received, the millions upon millions of tax payer dollars have been diverted to this absolutely obvious POLITICAL quid pro quo backed by Obama and his Administration? Do you think Jay? -

Dee:
Yes your grip on reality is mindboggling. Its OK with you that SEIU and ACORN are involved in voter fraud, intimidation, monetary fraud among other offenses as long as their hearts are in the right place.

Andy Stern. 22 visits. I'm sure it means nothing...
-
7
Dee, the lefties are kicking you under the table. Shhhh....change the subject please........

Andy Stern. 22 visits. I'm sure it means nothing
Hopefully, it means the administration is taking seriously the concerns of the 1.8 million service sector employees who are represented by Mr. Stern. Can you explain why this should be a problem?
-
8.1
Yes I can see how 0.6% of the U.S. population is worth 22 visits in 10 months while Commanders of our troops gets 15 minutes. Now we have Obama voting present on the Afghan situation before he runs out of the country again. The First Tourist will spend more time with lobbying groups (only the correct ones however) than with those who serve our country.

He's the big labor boss, doing everything in his power to destroy private small business, the backbone of our economy. Check out any seiu headquarters across the country, and you will likely find Acorn in the same building. Rotten to the core, common knowledge. Hard to even find a lefty who will defend him/them.

SEIU has so many things at stake, I am really not that surprised to see Andy Stern, partner in crime with the other ACORN theives working diligently on grabbing as much power from his White House TIES with Barack Obama as possible.
.
I'll bet hidden deep in the 1990 pages of legalease, Andy Stern and the SEIU like ACORN are set to reap millions upon MILLIONS of tax payer dollars.
.
Just saying it all.
.
You know while they TAKE billions from Seniors and Medicare, Obama will GIVE to SEIU and ACORN.
.
It's fair. "Spread the wealth, Joe"..."Spreading the wealth is all it is"-
10.1
It seems legitiment to me for Andy Stern-SEIU to spend this large amount of time at the White House. After all its a major project to work out all the details on the "redistribution of wealth" in the USA.
Big plans take big time.
