I saw that this morning. the one thing that spoiled it was the lady on there is Jennifer Rubin of Pajamas Media - a total wingnut.
Still, Cspan is a breath of fresh air away from the noise of other cable programs.
It is intelligent and low key and explores issues in depth and with seriousness. Something sorely lacking with other channels presenting 'news'.
It's also fun to listen to the far rightwing call in.

Can someone (with a Mac) please let me know how you are able to view C-SPAN clips such as this one?

Hasn't anyone developed an app that can decide the law? Problem solved; no empathy whatsoever. Though, it would have to be a PC, I think Macs actually have a little bit of soul.

TPM has video of Carl Levin calling Dick Cheney a liar on torture. They also wonder if will make news. I personally doubt it because I don't think the media is very afraid of Carl Levin.

God also invented hypocrites so the news media would have something to laugh and point at when they need entertainment. However, I guess their appetites have changed since they've chosen to ignore the parallels between what GOP loudmouths said in the past and what they are saying now about Sotomayor.

My daughter asked why the media keeps listening to losers like Tancredo (sp), Newt, Rush and Rove? I told her it was because the media missed the first couple of episodes of American Idol when all the freaks were on.

It may be your browser software. Safari 3.2 seems to do the job on my Mac, no prob.

gysgt: the establishment media is always afraid of the truth, it's one reason why they hate the DFHs.

@FO - thanks, I also have Safari 3.2 but no luck -- may be some other settings. Anyway, it's always frustrating to follow these threads but NOT be able to watch the video!
