Obama Announcing Reelect?

Almost. In a town hall Tuesday afternoon in Istanbul, Obama told Turkish students that they will be able to judge his accomplishments "four years from now or eight years from now."

And when will he be sharing this glorious news with the American people?

Freepers can relax. The phrasing indicates that he's aware he might lose.
    .
Again, I'm not sure why you think this is noteworthy.

  • 3

This is boilerplate. He uses it frequently at speeches and discussions. Not news. Nice try though.

  • 4

Isn't this standard because a one term president would be seen as a lame duck?

  • 6

Come on Michael you can come up with something more interesting to post about:
    .
    1) How about Newt calling Obama the President of Fantasy Island while advocating the use of photon torpedos against the missiles launched by North Korea.
    .
    2) You could write about Michele Obama's real life surprise episode of project runway starring Vera Wang as the old guard designer being overlooked in favor of up and coming talent.
    .
    3) Or you could write about Frank Gaffney's greatest discovery since the Rosetta Stone that allows him to break the Obama code. We now know that the word respect means to submit to sharia (sp.) law. Has anyone informed Aretha?

Wow, so much fail in this post Scherer. Let me check Drudge.....Nope you still even fail to attract Drudge's attention. Dominoes Pizza here you come.

MS....seriously, this is bad, even for you.

And to add on to Dee's post...
    -
    4) What about Rep. Bachmann's crazy insistence of Obama creating government-funded 're-education camps'?

Way to go kryptik -- let's have a contest, interesting things for MS to post...

  • 10

Re-education camps? Noooooooooo. Not another dreary journey through public schools! Can't I just surrender the guns I don't own and pledge my undying loyalty to the flavor of the day?

  • 11

MS, I'm attributing this to travel weariness. I'm sure you are eager to be home. :)

Not. Everyone assumes the president will run for another term, and this "find the sort-of announcement" substitute for reporting is waste of everyone's time.
