He's dying, for pete's sake. Next, I don't have financial screwups. Just credit card debt due to car repairs and life. I will have it paid off by March 1. I believe the stimulus bill does need work. I believe giving the middle class some sort of tax break is appropriate, at least until things get better. I was just saying that we as a country have gotten ourselves into trouble by spending like drunken sailors. It was Bush who had the auto bailout, if you'll remember. Liberals are great at invoking separation of church & hate when it suits their irresponsibility (hello Teddy Kennedy), but loathe the leave the largess of ship behind when it might entail something beyond early retirement on the socialist loon dime.

There's plenty of blame to go around for the current mess.

Let us not make it worse by piling more stupid federal debt onto a lot of stupid personal debt.
