The Latest on the Stimulus

Here's the latest from the Hill on the stimulus negotiations. They're still aiming for President's Day, though, clearly, there's a lot of work remaining to be done and that's before you even get to reconciling the two versions. Given the CBO report it'll be interesting to see if and how the Senate bill differs from the House-dropped legislation.

    I thought maybe there was a Jay strike or something. Anyway this whole mess should give the Reps fits for quite some time, especially after they get steamrolled by the huge Dem majorities.

    What I can't understand is why anyone takes the GOP seriously when they continue to peddle trickle-down. But it took Marxism 70 years to die, so I guess discredited ideologies can take awhile to go away.
