Obama's National Day of Service

Nice piece, once again Michael. Again, this stuff is more your forte than political writing. And, you know, tell your bosses that it is more interesting to your audience than political process and insider beltway gossip that your colleagues obsess over. Maybe eventually they'll get the message. What an extraordinary thing -- a "national day of service" she puts out a call to help clean up her neighborhood, and like, 200 people are inspired to get out and help. That's quite amazing when you think of it. Especially in DC. Doesn't it make your cynical, jaded colleagues look small? Thanks for posting.

That was great - more whipped cream and sprinkles for our happy, happy Inaugural Sundae.

I can at least this about that:
.
There is a whole lot more to a rich man who will paint a wall wtih his own hands than there ever was in the likes of Cheney, Bush, and the rest of those GOPers.
.
I know Obama is a politician, and so does most everyone else, but I am going to go with a guy that makes you feel good about being an American than listen to another arsehole tell an average American worker to 'Get a Life'.

Hey Michael, that was great. You also shamed me, because I am currently drunk as a skunk (though I normally don't drink at all), because I am SO DAMN HAPPY that the Bush administration is over.
However, that's not the right response. I ought to be doing something, like these people. First thing tomorrow morning.
Thanks again.
