Bush was "not a regulating type of guy', which kind of begs the question of what the FTC, EPA, FDA and other "regulatory" agencies have been up to for the last 8 years. Ken Cook, my boss, has written to all the major North American formula makers, asking them to tell the public what they're doing to keep the formula supply free of deadly melamine and other industrial chemicals. Ken's letter went out Wednesday. We're still waiting. If any of you want to lend your voices to the effort, you can write Karen here, write me on our site (enviroblog.org) and write the formula makers yourselves.
