It would be sad, but there are worse - undisputed - incidents for the MSM to cover, such as the way he behaved during the fire on the (Intrepid? too lazy to look it up. It's in the Rolling Stones article). It's sorta important for us not to look like the Republicans. See for reference how the public's view of Palin changed when we let her hoist herself on her own petard, rather than trying to throw her overboard via her life narrative and associations.

Ana et al: here's another one. Dole putting an impersonator on an ad saying "there is no God" in Hagan's voice. Hagan holding presser with her pastor, threatening to sue Dole. Gift to Hagan? Depends on how far North Carolina's come? Maybe Dole is proving how little she knows the state now.
