Boy, the moderator is an idiot. It's not some conspiracy, or random, as far as I can tell. It apparently looks for letter combinations that spell "naughty" words - even if those letters are components of larger, innocuous words of phrases. Thus, we can't talk about sh_ll games, or the poems of e. e. c_mmings, or forget to space the phrase "pen is mightier than the sword" properly. The sh_tzu breed is verboten. I haven't tested it yet, but I'm sure that if Ana Marie were Ana Lee and she ran her name together as she does above she'd never get a post in (but she would relive her days on Wonkette).

This needs fixing, guys. You are losing commenters, and by extension, revenue from page views.

I think Will Shortz, the NYT puzzle editor got caught on that one. There is something of a puzzling tradition of sneaking in offcolor words, and there was a time when a clue with that answer was often exhibited. And then, nada.
