Sure, Obama has a more inclusive health care plan, he offers the opportunity for generational change, he was right about invading Iran Iraq* and his VP has a more distinguished reading list than "all of it," but the Republican National Committee still thinks it has the goods on Obama. A deep, dark secret that will cause you to doubt everything you thought you knew about the man.
Of course, the Obama campaign denies such waffling. Spokesman Hari Sevugan: "Obama said nice things about the members of the team who came to support him today but that doesn’t change his feelings about the fact that they bounced his White Sox out of the playoffs nor that he is rooting for the Phillies. He’s a unity candidate and it is going to be a great series. " But is that the "right" answer? Shouldn't we acknowledge that there's NOTHING WRONG with being a Rays fan? That Rays fans love America, too? Especially now that the Rays have renounced and denounced their previous association with the Devil. Besides, it's not as if he randomly inserted the name of a local sports team into a campaign platitude with no regard for previous statements! That would be bad. * I AM SO DRUNK TODAY.
