The New Face of the Liberal Media
From Time's Amy Sullivan
Four years ago at the 2004 Democratic Convention, I noticed that when conservative media figures like Bill Kristol, Fred Barnes, Tucker Carlson, and Joe Scarborough moved through the convention area, the crowds would part to let them through while shooting glares and launching the occasional heckle. Fast-forward to the era of the new MSNBC. I'm watching right now as Scarborough makes his way across the convention floor--a journey made very slow by the fact that he's stopped every two feet by Democrats asking for his autograph, wanting to pose for photos with him, shaking his hand. Joe Scarborough, from conservative congressman to belle of the Democratic ball?
