Long Lost

Apologies for the scant appearances of late. I have literally written thousands and thousands of words. In a row! I had forgotten how difficult that is.

In any case, I guess I've missed a lot. Apparently, the press has turned on Obama! That's at least third or fourth time that's happened, still waiting for it to matter. And speaking of things that don't matter, I've been grimly amused by the spat that's erupted between Keith Olberman and Glen Greenwald, over the K.O.'s embrace of Obama's embrace of the "compromise" FISA legislation. I'm not sure what to make of Olbrrman's change of heart; perhaps it's a genuine reconsideration. With him, at least, we don't have to worry that telecom donations made a difference.
