This Race Is Not About Race / Ferraro Resigns From Clinton Campaign
Thanks to the Internet, SNL no longer has a monopoly on political sketch comedy. This is from an LA-based troupe called the Public Service Administration.
If anyone knows a similarly good sketch attacking the Obama campaign, let me know in the comments, and in the interest of equal time, I will post.
Also: Geraldine Ferraro resigned from the Clinton campaign this afternoon, though this video was likely not a precipitating factor. Resigning from campaigns is very popular these days. However, unlike Samantha Power and Bill Shaheen, Ferraro did not exactly go out in a burst of contrition. From her statement:
I am stepping down from your finance committee so I can speak for myself and you can continue to speak for yourself about what is at stake in this campaign. The Obama campaign is attacking me to hurt you. I won't let that happen.
