Obama's Nashua Event

I ended up going with Joe to the event which was so big -- they expected 1,500 and got more than 3,000 – the campaign had to open up a second gymnasium where the overflow crowd watched on a hastily set-up monster tv screen. “We needed a bigger boat,” Obama joked, taking the stage, promising to shake hands with those in the overflow room when he was done speaking. He gave his standard stump speech – though this one is shorter than in the closing days of Iowa where he often spoke for upwards of an hour. Several times he asked the crowd to remember this historic nature of this election. “In New Hampshire, you have the possibility to change politics in three days time,” Obama said. “New Hampshire out time is now.”

Hillary is scheduled to speak that the same venue tomorrow at noon. It'll be fascinating to see what kind of crowd she draws.
