Biden's Rapid Response

When I first saw this in my mail box, I was really excited -- and a little surprised -- to see what, exactly, Biden might have to say about today's big Huckism ("Mormons believe Jesus and the Devil are brothers"). I mean, Joe Biden, expert on foreign policy AND theology!

”I urge all candidates for president, especially the Republicans debating today in Iowa, to stand in unison and reject this sort of hateful rhetoric. The American people are looking for leadership as well as good judgment. Governor Huckabee's offensive and narrow-minded scapegoating of Americans with AIDS and the LGBT community is not an example of sound judgment that we expect from someone who aspires to unite and represent all Americans.”

Granted, this is also a topic that, you know, might make a difference in some people's lives... here on earth. And maybe says more about Huckabee than anything he says about Mormonism.
