Re: Dr. Rudy's Misdiagnosis

Rudy's campaign has taken an interesting tack in pushing back against the charge that his radio ad got the facts wrong: They may be incorrect statistics, but they're HIS incorrect statistics.

“The former New York City mayor is an avid reader of City Journal and found the passage in the article himself.”

I guess that's a slight improvement over the current C-in-C, who gets facts wrong without reading them himself.

Another odd thing about that ad -- and also another thing wrong with it --- is Rudy's retelling of when he was diagnosed: " I had prostate cancer, five, six years ago."

Actually, he dropped out of the New York senate race because of prostate cancer in 2000. It doesn't seem like the kind of thing you'd forget. I guess 9/11 really did change everything.
