Bye-Bye Buckeye Hawkeye

I like Ryan Lizza's analysis of the Hillary-may-skip-Iowa story:

Perhaps it is a controlled leak to lower expectations for Hillary in Iowa, where -- what a coincidence! -- she has been cratering in the polls recently. Just raising the idea that she might skip Iowa changes the perception about how well she has to do there, and it is precisely that perception that needs changing right now. Politics is weird.

Hotline has some thoughts too.

UPDATE: A fellow Swamplander reminds me, "The buckeyes are from Ohio. This raises a multitude of possible buck, hawk and eye jokes." Ugh. My bad. Sorry to C and T, just two of the Hawkeyes in my life.
