What's the senate hearing version of the "mercy rule"?
Here's where it would have made sense:
Feinstein: "You're testifying to us that you made these decisions without ever looking at the performance records?"
Gonzales: "Yes."
I mean, game over, right? The next sentence out of Gonzales' mouth should have been, "And on that note, I submit my resignation will you please stop asking me questions? Please? Wahhhhh! Mommy! Mommy!"
